Life Advocate Intensive 2020

You are a leader of the pro-life movement! Your involvement in a pro-life group already sets you apart from the rest of the culture. But now you have a great responsibility: the unborn need you RIGHT NOW. There are students that urgently need to hear the pro-life message. Your group will likely be the only anti-abortion voice at your school, and you could be the only one standing between a student and her abortion appointment. The unborn need you, are you prepared to save them?

What: The Life Advocate Intensive is the best activism training for students in Michigan. It's a three day experience in which you will learn how to respond to pro-choice arguments and apply that training on the streets of Grand Rapids. Nervous about outreach? You're not alone. That's why we're giving you this opportunity to shadow and learn from the pros.

You will leave this program equipped to share your pro-life beliefs, confident in your ability to dialogue with others, and encouraged after standing on the front lines next to pro-lifers across the state!

Who: All high school and college students who are interested in maximizing their impact for the unborn.

When: August 6th-8th, 2020 (Thursday through Saturday)

Where: Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Cost: $75 for students. We provide lodging, meals, and all learning materials. After attending, you will receive a $25 rebate. You must be present and punctual on all 3 days to receive your rebate.

Please note, we will be using abortion victim photography as part of the outreach. You can find an example of what we will be doing here.

A note regarding Covid-19: We are closely monitoring the situation so we can adapt this event as needed, keeping your safety as our highest priority. We will keep you updated as we make decisions based on new information. In the meantime, we are planning on this event going forward as scheduled, with precautions taken to protect your health and safety. Registration Agreement

Registrants must be a member or alumni of a pro-life high school or college group in order to attend this event. Drug use will NOT be tolerated. Underage drinking will NOT be tolerated. Drinking will NOT be tolerated in hotel rooms, no matter the age of the individual. Guests are responsible for any damage to their hotel room. Guests are not permitted in the hotel rooms of the opposite sex.

Rebate policy: In order to receive a $25 rebate after the event, registrants must complete a small assignment prior to the event, arrive to the event on time, and participate in all required activities on all three days of the event.

Refund policy: We do not ordinarily allow refunds for events. However, due to the somewhat unpredictable nature of the current COVID-19 crisis, we are now offering full refunds if you cancel your registration before July 17th. After the 17th, payments are final. In the extremely unlikely case that LAI is cancelled, we will refund all admission fees.
