Please note, Protect Life Michigan uses abortion victim photography as part of some outreaches, as an effective way to show the reality of abortion to others. You can watch a video to understand our life-saving strategy HERE📎.

As part of Protect Life Michigan's internship, I would be willing to participate in pro-life activism, some of which will utilize Abortion Victim Photography.*

Support Raising

Protect Life Michigan's interns will be paid $14.00 an hour. Cohort 1 will be paid approximately $7,600 over the course of the internship. Cohort 2 interns will be paid approximately $5,040 over the course of the internship.

All interns will be trained to support raise and will raise financial support in the amount of $5,000 before the internship begins. This will require training with our Support Raising Coach and several fundraising meetings with potential supporters. Funds will not be paid out if they have not been raised.

In order to set interns up for success, we require all interns to create a list of 50 names and phone numbers for people to approach for the purpose of raising financial support. Acceptance into the internship is contingent upon completion of this list.

Support raising may feel unfamiliar, but it’s a powerful and practical skill - one that can help you gain employment in both the pro-life and missions fields. Almost all of the staff members at Protect Life MI support raise, and we have developed an amazing training program to help you reach full funding quickly. Use this opportunity to overcome your fear, bring members of your community into the pro-life mission, and gain a marketable skill.

Protect Life MI Statement of Beliefs

Please take your time and thoroughly read through this Statement of Beliefs. If anyone disagrees with the tenets held in this Statement and refuses to sign, that person will not be allowed to participate in any PLM related activities, including the 2026 Internship.

At Protect Life Michigan, we believe:

1. Life begins at the moment of fertilization, creating a distinct, living, and whole human being, with human rights.

2. Abortion is the act of intentionally killing an innocent human being.

3. We are opposed to abortion in all circumstances. Abortion in the case of rape or incest still intentionally kills an innocent child and is never morally permissible.

4. Life-saving procedures are not abortions. In cases of life-threatening pregnancy complications, anti-abortion advocates support medical intervention to save womens’ lives, even if the child dies. Furthermore, passing pro-life legislation will never bar women from access to
life-saving procedures. These cases are different from abortion because they involve treating the mother’s illness, not directly killing the child. We are against abortion as it is normally performed in our country, which is the intentional killing of an innocent human being.

5. Abortion should be both illegal and unthinkable.

6. Violence, including anti-abortion violence, is never tolerated or encouraged.

7. Men and women who have been involved in abortions deserve love, forgiveness, and healing. We will treat them with love and respect.

8. Abortion is the greatest injustice of our age, because of (1) the severity of violence against its victims (death), (2) the frequency of occurrence (2,300 times per day in the United States), and (3) the unique and extreme vulnerability of its victims (the defenseless unborn).
