Protect Life Michigan 2021 Summer Internship Application

Why apply?

The pro-life movement needs motivated young activists to stand up for the unborn. This summer, take the next step in your pro-life work by spending your time being a voice for the unborn and learning how to gracefully and effectively fight abortion.

This internship is designed for you. Protect Life Michigan will invest heavily in your professional development during this internship so that you can gain work experience inside one of the pro-life movement's most effective and impactful nonprofits.

Interns will participate in weekly classroom training, community outreach, learning assignments, and work projects. Projects will be done in groups and will be based on field of study. All interns will have the opportunity to learn from national pro-life leaders. Topics will include Effective Abortion Dialogue, History of Social Justice Movements, Pro-Life Leadership, and more.

Who: Rising high school juniors through college seniors who live in Michigan and are interested in working in the pro-life movement after graduation.

When: June 14 - July 24, 2021

Where: Grand Rapids, MI. Interns will be expected to be in-person in Grand Rapids on a set schedule one day/week.

Time commitment: 15 hours/week, remote and in-person.

Support Raising

Protect Life Michigan's interns can be volunteers (unpaid) or employees (paid).

Paid interns will be trained to support raise and will raise the total amount of their stipend ($1,300) plus expenses ($300) before the internship begins. This would require an additional one-day training approximately one month before the internship starts and several fundraising meetings with potential supporters. Funds will not be paid out if they have not been raised.

Don't let this scare you. Support Raising is a priceless skill that can help you gain employment in both the pro-life and missions fields. Use this opportunity to overcome your fear and gain a marketable skill.
